Electromagnetic Forces- Physics Assignment

Electromagnetic Forces

Electromagnets are transient magnets made by running electricity through a coil of wire (Jafari & Goharkhah, 2020). Electromagnets generate a magnetic field whose intensity is proportional to the number of turns of wire in the coil and the current through the coil. An electromagnet's magnetic field is stronger near its coil's core and decreases outward. Putting a ferromagnetic material like iron or steel inside the coil will increase the strength of the magnetic field.
